Relevant
Experience
David R. Jensen is a nationally recognized land planner with more than
three decades of experience on a wide range of projects throughout the
United States, including Hawaii and Puerto Rico, and internationally in
the Philippines. Projects vary in size, scope and location from the master
planning of large-scale residential and premier golf course resort
communities and mixed use planned communities, to the overall planning of
small parcels.

His leadership
in land use decisions, as well as the community design of a project,
balances overall project design, marketability, and profitability. Dave's
sales- and market-based land planning approach, which he terms Windows and
FocalsTM, developed for golf and lake communities is also implemented with
other real estate ventures. Over the years, his work for community
developers and builders has resulted in many award winning master planned
communities that serve as examples of innovation and conservation. These
communities are sensitively designed to be great places for people to
live, with parks and open space for children, hiking and biking trail
systems, and natural areas for habitat viewing. |
|
Dave is a
speaker for the development and building community on green development
techniques, smart growth, sustainable development, golf course
development, "Winning at the Zoning Table", and other topics. He recently
spoke to Colorado State Senators of the Smart Growth Subcommittee on
growth issues pertaining to Colorado. He is the author of books published
by the National Association of Home Builders and Urban Land Institute. In
addition, his articles have been featured in various trade publications
throughout the United States. |
